Before I placed my son in LLA, I took about three months to research childcare facilities in all the different aspects. Ultimately, I chose LLA and from the jump, Mrs. Valerie made sure my son felt comfortable in the classroom he was in, made sure to let me know of any concerns she had, and any progress he made whether it was positive or negative. I was very worried about sending him to school at a young age but he has loved being at LLA since day one. Mrs. Valerie and her staff have paid close attention to the way he learns and created a safe and loving environment, leaving me with no worries about my son being in their care. He will be 2 in three weeks and he can count to five, sing his ABCs, has started talking in three word sentences and still uses his sign language when talking. I would highly recommend sending your little ones to LLA, as they have a small teacher to student ratio, the kids receive one on one learning and it's a small and loving community to raise your child in.

My son attended Little Learners Academy in San Antonio for 8 months, starting at around 18 months old. This was his first daycare experience, and the center made the transition incredibly smooth and stress-free.
Convenience & Daily Operations:
* Prime location: Just 5 minutes from home, making drop-off and pickup quick and hassle-free.
* Brightwheel app: Real-time updates on diaper changes, meals, naps, and incidents - a game-changer for first-time daycare parents.
* Daily arts & crafts: My son came home with adorable projects every single day. Safety, Care & Comfort
* Rare minor incidents: Only typical toddler clumsiness; staff handled everything with care and immediate communication.
* Support stuffy allowed: They welcomed his comfort item, which eased separation anxiety.
* Outdoor play: Two structured sessions daily, weather permitting.
* Ms. Benavides (Director): Actively involved in supervision, approachable, and responsive to every question or concern.
Nutrition & Curriculum:
* Balanced meals: Included all food groups with good variety - my son loved the options.
* Snacks provided: Parents can send specific items if needed.
* Strong curriculum: At 2 years old, my son is now praised for advanced speech and knowledge - I credit much of this to the center's engaging program.
Staff & Environment:
* Teacher turnover: Higher than expected, but all staff were experienced, kind, and consistently smiling.
* Happy kids: Photos showed joyful children; pickups/drop-offs were always calm and positive.
* Family engagement: Fun off-site activities that welcomed parents and siblings.
Final Verdict:
We loved Little Learners Academy and would reenroll in a heartbeat if we hadn't relocated. If you're in San Antonio, tour this center - your child will be cared for, educated, and genuinely loved. Highly recommended!

This daycare is a new daycare for the area but such a gem to find! I love that the classrooms have a low child-to-teacher ratio that ensures each child will get care and attention, and in addition, they send you photos throughout their day that share their daily adventures. My son struggles with separation anxiety, and I was worried as this was my son’s first daycare, but the staff has helped him transition amazingly by providing care, love, good nutritious food, and plenty of activities to enjoy his time away from mom!

Oh I can’t express how much my husband and I love Little Learners Academy for both our children. The ladies here and directors are so caring, polite, patient, & they all care for your children like they’re their owns. My children be so happy to pull up and at one point one would cry when he had to leave. There’s never a dull moment. They use “Brightwheel” to keep up with your children day and EVERYDAY, & I mean EVERYDAY, they post your children, what they’ve ate & didn’t eat, what activities they’re working on (Fine Motors Skill & Gross Motor Skills), nap time, reading time, outdoor times, & they even potty train and help teach your children about hygiene (brushing teeth and all). The director is so polite and she’s always open to talk about concerns on your end and there’s. I prayed for care like this for my children and God made sure we found Little Learners Academy! Thank you all for what you do and I’m excited for my children to grow with you and you all see them grow. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to the point you don’t want no one to know about this gem. 😂

We’ve had a pleasant experience with Little learners. Right from the start we felt welcomed and showed us that they truly care about our kids. They provide a weekly breakdown for our kids curriculum. They consistently provide updates/photos of our kids which makes us feel at ease. I can’t recommend this place enough! Our kids absolutely love it!
Thank you staff,

We’ve loved our time at Little Learners Academy ! My daughter is safe, happy and well taken care of. All of the teachers are women, and the company is women owned. It’s a small ratio school that truly loves my baby. I’m thankful I found this school.

I truly love this daycare! I had a bad experience with my daughter’s previous daycare and when I made the switch it was like night and day. I was immediately met with empathy and had all of my concerns addressed in a professional and empathetic manner.
My daughter’s teacher has been amazing and I appreciate the updates throughout the day to help put me at ease. Leaving your child in the care of another person is never easy, but I can confidentially say that they offer high quality care and communicate very well with me.
